TED Talks- Brain Creation

As I was watching this video, I heard Henry Markram talk about some really interesting stuff.  He talked about how using about 10,000 laptops, we could create a neo-cortical column of the brain and study where everything we perceived is located.  I thought that was really cool and that technology has evolved so far that we can actually do this.  I am really amazed at the fact that within ten years, we could map the whole brain and pinpoint the source of mental illness and other brain related diseases.  This technology is allowing the universe to let the brain see itself and what we are doing so we can perceive more than before.
